I love Violets and although it is not spring here in Australia but Autumn

I found a few pretty little violets in our garden in the courtyard.

There was also one gardinia left in bloom. Inspired by these lovely flowers a theme emerged

for a little fun styling, or “playing house” as we fondly call it.

My little birdy pepper shaker has survived many moves since I purchased it in London,

from Fortnum and Masons, when I lived there a long time ago!

It complimented beautifully my vintage French Haviland teacup, a flea market treasure.
