Our home and collections
Sometimes photo shoots do not go as planned,
this one ended in disaster with one of my precious tea cups broken,
I tried to build the stack too high and it fell over:(
Very sad loss, it was a French vintage Haviland hand painted teacup
a special cake made for Nanny’s (my husband’s Mother) 83 rd birthday
The cake is a gluten free, sugar free chocolate cake
recipe from Spoonful of Sugarfree
Decorated with rose petals , pistachios and figs with each layer held together
with delicious sugar free cherry jam from St Dalfour, France.

I had a special guest to tea this week…
All the props are from my collection and the chalk board typography is my original artwork on our kitchen wall.
A few of the photographs I took this week on Instagram
My morning juice, tea party inspiration and creating a peaceful place to sit in the winter sunshine
Working in the Mulberry Muse studio late this afternoon I turned around to see the beautiful
late afternoon sunshine streaming through the window onto the fireplace mantel.
I had purchased some early spring blossom on my walk today and placed it on the mantel.
The sun reflecting on the mirror around the pretty white blossom looked magical.
The simple things bring so much pleasure.
